ZAZ

ZAZ (Zaporozhets Automobile Plant, later Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant) is a Ukrainian car manufacturer, founded in 1960 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine (then part of the Soviet Union). ZAZ became known for producing small, affordable cars intended for mass use across the USSR and Eastern Bloc.

The most famous models were the Zaporozhets series, often nicknamed the “people’s car of Ukraine.” Despite their simple design and modest performance, these cars were appreciated for being cheap, easy to repair, and accessible to ordinary Soviet citizens.
